Three men arrested after brawl in Southsea street

THREE men have been arrested after a brawl in Southsea.

Police were called to Reginald Road shortly after 2pm yesterday to reports of a group of people fighting.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The group dispersed and a 19-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested in Wainscott Road on suspicion of affray, possession of a Class B drug, and criminal damage.

‘The criminal damage relates to damage to a fence on Wainscott Road immediately prior to police attendance.

‘A 22-year-old man from Portsmouth and a 48-year-old man from Southsea were also arrested on suspicion of affray.

‘All three have been released from custody but remain under investigation.’
