Valuables taken in Hayling house raid

A PROBE has been launched after a house was burgled.

A house in Salterns Lane, Hayling Island, was broken into some time between 10pm and 8.45am on March 29 through to March 30.

Crooks removed the lock to a kitchen door.

PC Simon Smith, investigating, said: ‘The resident discovered their wallet had been stolen from a kitchen drawer. Bank cards plus £180 cash had been taken.’
