Warning over bogus callers
BOGUS callers could be stopped if residents demand to see proper ID, a water firm has said.
Portsmouth Water said its staff will have photo ID, a uniform with a kingfisher logo and a vehicle with the same branding.
Managing director Neville Smith said: ‘The last thing we want is a customer’s Christmas to be ruined by a visit from a Bogus Caller who is claiming to be from Portsmouth Water.’
