Woman confronted by three men and raped near Hampshire church

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 30s was confronted by three men and raped while walking through an alley in Winchester.

The victim was walking through the alleyway connecting the bottom of Battery Hill to The Valley - next to St Luke’s Church – between 12am and 3am on Saturday, October 24.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘(The woman) was approached by three males and was pushed to the ground.
