Woman left needing stitches after intruder to Fareham pub The Golden Lion slams door in her face

A MAN who forced his way into a pub at 9am left a young woman needing stitches to her face.

The intruder walked into The Golden Lion in Fareham High Street through a fire door and asked the member of staff whether he could use the toilet.

The woman refused but the man then forced his way in, hitting her with the door, leaving her with facial injuries which needed stitches.

He stole a glass charity jar of money which was tied to the bar.

Three men arrested after police chase ends in car crash in Southsea

The CCTV pictures show a man in the area to whom police want to speak about the incident, which happened on Sunday, February 16.

He was white, about 6ft and of a medium build. He wore glasses, a grey baseball cap, a white T-shirt, a navy or black hoody, a navy or black tracksuit and black and white shoes.

Anyone who knows who the man is has been asked to call police on 101, and quoting incident number 44200059679.
