Families enjoy Bishop's Waltham church fairÂ

FAMILIES soaked up some warm sunshine while enjoying an annual fair.

There were lots of activities for visitors to do at the St Peter's Church fair, in Bishop's Waltham.

Held every year, the traditional event had a range of stalls selling second-hand books, preserves and jams and gifts.

There was also a dog show, a ferret club and tombolas.

Children had fun playing games, having their pictures taken in a photo booth and sliding down inflatables.

Louise Jackson took her son Daniel, aged four. She said: '˜It has been a lovely day, probably the last warm day we will see in a while.

'˜We love the fair and have been to a lot over the summer, this one has been fantastic.

'˜There is lots to browse and Daniel liked the bouncy castle.'

Grandparents Bob and Joan Fielder, from Bishop's Waltham took their grandsons Jamie and Leon.

Leon, aged seven, said: '˜I've had lots of fun. I liked the different games.'

Bob added: '˜It was nice to stroll around the church grounds and see everyone having a good time.'
