Everyone loves a good fireworks night.

But with so many being staged, which one should you go to?

We have put together a guide of when and where to go. Displays range from the annual showcase put on by Gunwharf Quays, to the smaller community fireworks presented by schools.

Each event has a different feel to it, so you’re sure to find somewhere you’d like to go in your area.

Portsmouth

Gunwharf Quays Firework Spectacular

Location: Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth

Date: Friday, October 31

Time: 6pm onwards

Cost: Free

Parking: Usual parking tariffs

Cosham Bonfire andFireworks Display

Location: King George V Playing Fields, Cosham.

Date: Wednesday, November 5

Time: Gates open at 4pm. From 6pm there will be live music and entertainment. The fireworks display takes place at 7.30pm.

Southsea Fireworks and Fairylights

Location: Palmerston Road

Date: Thursday, November 13

Time: 4pm- 8pm. The event will be held in the pedestrian precinct and will include musical acts, children’s rides and a stages lights switch on. There will be a fiework finale.

Stockheath Common Bonfire and Firework Display

Event date and time: Wednesday, November 5 - 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Cost: Free

Location: Stockheath Common, Leigh Park

Thorney Island Fireworks

Location: Baker Barracks, Thorney Island

Date: Friday, November 7

Time: Gates open at 6pm.

There will be a funfair and numerous stalls. Food and drink is available

Parking: £10 per car (includes entry to the display)

Cost: £10 per car, £2 per pedestrian

Location: Emsworth Primary School

Date: Saturday, November 1

Time: Gates open from 5pm

Entertainment: Fireworks display at 7:30pm

Rowlands Castle Association Bonfire and Fireworks Show

Location: The Recreation Ground in Links Lane

Date: Saturday, November 8

Time: Bonfire lit at 6:15pm

Firework display at 7pm.

Cost: Under-16s free.

Adults asked for £5 donation on the gate.

Gosport

Explosion Firework Spectacular

Location: Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower, Priddy’s Hard

Date: Sunday November 2

Time: 5pm- 8pm

HMS Sultan Bonfire Night

Location: HMS Sultan, Gosport

Date: Thursday, October 30

Time 6:30pm-10:30pm

Live stage entertainment, live music, a funfair and much more.

There will also be various food and drink stalls.

Cost: Adult £5, Child £4, Family ticket is £15

Fareham

Whiteley Fireworks

Location: Meadowside Recreation Field in Whiteley

Date: Sunday, October 26

Time: Gates open 5:30pm

Entertainment: Fairground attractions. Firework display starts at 7:15pm.

Cost: Under-11s go free, 11-16-year-olds £1, over-16s £2.50, family tickets (two adults, four children) £5

St Anthony’s Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular

Location: Primate Road, Titchfield Common

Date: Saturday, November 8

Time: 3-6pm. There will be fairground rides, a play bus, circus school and fire performers. Refreshments and food includes a hog roast, barbecue, hot chocolate, mulled wine.

Tickets on the gate are £7 adult, £6 student, £5 child, £16 family.
