Flower club's '˜lonely bouquets' celebrate the Queen's birthday
For the third year running the NAFAS asked its 60,000 members to leave bouquets in public areas for anyone to pick up and take home.
Fareham Flower Club, which meets on the second Thursday of every month at Wallington Village Hall, placed eight bouquets in Fareham, Portchester, Whiteley, Wallington and Titchfield.

She said: ‘I like to give people pleasure. There’s something so friendly about flowers. You never give flowers to be nasty, you give them to be nice to someone.
‘Last year we didn’t get any feedback so we don’t know if anyone picked our bouquets up but this year we’re hoping someone sends us a message just to let us know.’
NAFAS’ honorary patron, Nicki Chapman, said: ‘The idea is to leave a small posy of flowers, somewhere different, somewhere interesting.
