Invitation offered to mayor'scharity ball

The mayor of Fareham's annual charity ball is taking place tomorrow evening to raise funds for the mayor's two chosen charities.

Councillor Mike Ford and his wife Anne are inviting the public to join them to raise money for the Dave Wellman Cancer Trust and the Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service.

Cllr Ford said: ‘Our ball on Friday marks the culmination of our charity year and is an event that we’ve looked forward to all year.

‘This event should generate significant funds that will go to our two charities who will both be present at the ball.’

The evening will also feature live music from Hampshire-based Vintage String Quartet, The Four Bows and Southampton-based four piece band The Attributes.

Tickets are priced at £45 each and include a three-course dinner. The night starts at 7.30pm.
