Musicians come togetherÂ

OVER 100 young musicians from across the county were brought together by Hampshire County Council's music service on Saturday to commemorate Armistice Day and the reopening of a historic military landmark.

The concert was held in the restored chapel of the Royal Military Hospital at Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley.

It was the first public event in the chapel since its £3.5m restoration by the county council.

Councillor Stephen Reid, said: '˜It was a wonderful idea by my predecessor, councillor Peter Edgar. It was great to experience the beautiful chapel filled with youth on such a momentous occasion.'
