13. The Old Vic
Once located in St Paul’s Road, Southsea, this pub shut down in 2015 after having its licence revoked by police. It first opened under the Old Vic name in the 1980s. The building it was in is Grade II listed. Photo: JPIMedia
14. The Portland
Located in Kent Road, Southsea, this once lively pub was full with music memorabilia and even a red telephone box. It was renamed in 1989 and became Havana Café Bar in its last incarnation. Photo: Submitted
15. The Registry

16. The Taswell Arms
This pub stood on the corner of Taswell Road in Southsea for a hundred years. It became popular with students in the 1990s. It was shut down in 2012 and is now a private residence. Photo: JPIMedia
