Cats protection
CAT owners are being advised to put sun cream on their pets to protect them against skin cancer.
Cats Protection, which has branches in Gosport, Fareham and Portsmouth, said cats with white or pale coloured ears or noses are particularly susceptible to the sun’s harmful rays – with some needing drastic surgery to repair sun-damaged skin. The charity advised to use creams specially formulated for animals.
