Firefighters said it was ‘udderly ridiculous’ after they were called to rescue a cow which got its head stuck in a tree.
The cow was ‘remooved’ after its head was stuck in the fork of a willow tree in Joys Lane, Chilbolton, around 7.30pm on Wednesday.
An animal rescue advisor was called and requested support from Winchester’s animal rescue vehicle.
Hampshire’s fire service, posting on Twitter, said it was ‘udderly ridiculous’, before adding: ‘The crew worked to remoove the animal from the tree.’
