Gosport residents celebrate windfall after People’s Postcode Lottery win

TEN Gosport neighbours are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The Parker Close residents netted the windfall when their postcode was announced on Monday (February 1) as a Daily Prize winner.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: ‘What a brilliant win to start the week, I’m delighted for all of our winners in Gosport. I hope they treat themselves with the prize money and enjoy spending their winnings.’

Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and further afield.

The draw was promoted by the Postcode Innovation Trust whose mission is to support charities and social enterprises to deliver impactful, innovative and engaging initiatives across Great Britain. The trust uses money generated from the lottery to provide grants to fund community initiatives which meet these aims.
