Green Flag Award is given to parks in Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Leigh Park, and Hampshire

A number of parks across the area have received the Green Flag Award for their high standard.

The Green Flag Award scheme has awarded some of the city’s most popular outdoor spaces, including Baffins Pond which has held the award since 2011. The scheme recognises parks, ponds and gardens for their maintenance and upkeep.
