One casualty confirmed after incident in Fareham Creek

RESCUE teams were scrambled to Fareham yesterday after a suspected medical incident.

Coastguard crews were called to Fareham Creek during Sunday afternoon, with one person handed over to paramedics for treatment.

Posting on Twitter about the incident, Hill Head Coastguard Rescue Team said: ‘[We were] tasked to person on a vessel in fareham creek with suspected cardiac problems.

‘Casualty transferred to Wicor Marine by GAFIRS and passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service with safety cover provided by HM Coastguard.’

The current condition of the casualty is unknown at this time.
