Police launch missing person search as pensioner disappears from Isle of Wight coach trip

A SEARCH has been launched for a man who went missing during a coach trip.

Guy Ramsden, from Manchester, had travelled to the Isle of Wight and was last seen at 2.30pm yesterday at The Parade in Cowes, outside Trinity Landing.

The 67-year-old did not return to the coach and has not been seen since, and had been staying at the Bayshore Hotel in Sandown.

Police say he is around 6ft and stocky, white with messy grey hair and grey stubble.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Guy was last seen wearing a dark bobble hat covering most of his hair, black rimmed glasses, colourful Bermuda shorts, trainers, a black bomber jacket and gloves.

‘He was also carrying a rucksack and a black box containing a camera.

‘Have you seen this man on the island, or in any of the locations given above?’
