Sister, Ayesha Gregory, also from Swanmore, said: ‘We are very concerned about Jamie’s welfare. This is totally out of character – he has never done anything like this before. We just want to know he is safe.

‘Jamie can speak to anyone and make friends. If anyone knows of his whereabouts and Jamie has asked them not to say anything then I would appeal to them to ignore this and let us know where he is. He has a four-month-old son who needs him.’

While Jamie has never gone missing before he has been diagnosed as suffering from depression. He also recently lost his job working for Amazon. The family have contacted all his known friends as well as local pubs and hospitals.

Ayesha added: ‘Jamie is vulnerable. While he has seemed okay recently there have been times when he has phoned me in tears and said he was “struggling to go on”.’

Ayesha said Hampshire police are involved in the search for Jamie. Anyone who knows where he is can contact the police on 101.
