The bank holiday weekend has not only brought glorious sunshine but also the return of a popular free music event.
The first Live at the Bandstand of the year took place at the Southsea Bandstand field on Sunday, May 24 as crowds made the most of the weather to turn up in their numbers. Crowds were entertained by a host of local artists all booked by the Wedgewood Rooms.
Coast, Rosewater, Making Eyes, and Samzara all made the most of their opportunity to play in front of the excited crowds. Families and friends gathered with food and drink to enjoy the first of many Live at the Bandstands throughout the summer which this year is also part of the Portsmouth100 celebrations.
