Three people in this lucky Southsea postcode have won £1,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery

The Oakdene Road neighbours netted the windfall when PO4 8FB was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners: ‘A huge congratulations to our winners in Southsea.

‘I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.’

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

Today’s draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Local Trust, created by the lottery to support grassroots projects with an environmental focus across the UK.

The trust focuses on supporting wildlife, increasing community access to outdoor spaces, and combatting climate change.
