Two men taken to hospital after Cosham firefighters attend overnight vehicle collision in Hampshire

FIRE crews from Cosham attended an overnight vehicle collision which resulted in two men being taken to hospital.

Fire fighters were deployed at 10.30pm last night (February 2) after being alerted to a collision involving two private vehicles on Highfield Lane in Liphook.

The road had to be closed while firefighters extracted the driver of one of the vehicles who was trapped in his car. Both drivers were passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service where they were taken to hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

Fire crews were stood down at around 1.45am and the road has now been reopened.
