Two Portsmouth neighbours win £1,000 each from People's Postcode Lottery

A PAIR of neighbours are celebrating the perfect start to their week after bagging a huge lottery win.

Two residents in Binness Way, Farlington, have won £1,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery.

It came after the PO6 1LF postcode was announced as one of the addresses for today’s daily winners.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

He said: ‘Congratulations to all the winners in PO6 1LF. Amazing news, what a great way to start the week.

‘I hope you enjoy spending the cash on something nice.’

At least 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities, with players raising more than £600m to date for good causes across the UK.

This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Community Trust which provides funding in Great Britain to improve community health and wellbeing, increase participation in arts and physical recreation and reduce isolation.
