A FIRE broke out at a Japanese restaurant in the city centre this morning.

Smoke was captured billowing from Otaku on Isambard Brunel Road, adjacent to Guildhall Square, at around 11am.
Firefighters from Southsea attended the fire before it was quickly brought under control.
No one needed treatment, it was reported.
