Proud parents have been snapping up copies of One Life, One Love, a charity single from Widley-born X Factor duo Same Difference featuring more than 100 children from across the area.

The song and video - from Sarah Wilson and Sean Smith of the pop band - has been produced to raise funds for NHS Charities Together, but Sarah couldn’t resist getting students from her Buckland-based SD Studios involved.

Sarah, 31, said: ‘It’s so strange, I have never been more nervous about a release.

‘Everyone’s over the moon, people have said the video made them cry. We’re just really hoping that everyone gets behind it and we raise a lot of money for charity - I’m hoping people will dig deep.’

The children involved with the song had only heard their section of the song until its release, and many of them have been playing it on repeat in a bid to get it into the top 40 chart.

Donna Budd’s six-year-old daughter Isla attends around 10 classes a week at the school.

Donna, from Drayton, said: ‘This morning I got up to all these messages and since then I have been sharing, posting, watching, buying. Isla is excited and has been watching it on repeat.

‘I haven’t stopped, every single person in my phone book has been messaged about three times.’

An excited Isla added: ‘I really like it and it’s really good because everybody’s in it, I like (SD Studios) because it’s got lots of classes and teachers.’

Cosham resident Sam said: ‘We’re so lucky that it happened, SD have been amazing through the lockdown in general.

‘It’s a fantastic single and the kids really enjoyed making all their banners. It’s lovely we can make money for the NHS after all that’s been going on.

‘Bethany lives and breathes the dance studio. They’re absolutely amazing and I’m really chuffed she’s been part of something like this.’
