Death at MoD base
A SOLDIER has died at a local military base.
The Ministry of Defence confirmed that a soldier had died at Thorney Island near Emsworth on Wednesday.
An Army spokesperson said: ‘It is with regret we can confirm the death of a soldier and our thoughts remain with the family, friends and loved ones. This matter is subject to investigation and it would be inappropriate to comment further.’
