Family pays tribute to 'loving' and 'unique' man who died following a collision in Southampton

The family of a 51-year-old who died following a collision have described him as a ‘real superhero’ as they pay tribute to him.

Sadly, the pedestrian, Lee Michael Anderson, of Wadhurst Gardens, Southampton, died four days later in hospital after being taken there for treatment.

Lee’s family have today (October 18) paid tribute to him.

They said: "Lee was a loving brother and unique person, who was taken from us far too soon.

"He would always put others before himself and really liked to help out, especially within the community where he lived.”

“To his family he is a real Superhero, as he was an organ donor, and many people are now alive because of his loving kindness."

The police investigation into the exact circumstances of the collision is ongoing, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who can assist.
