M27 Traffic: Severe delays westbound between junction 8 and 10 Wickham and Bursledon

A collision on a major Hampshire motorway is causing heavy delays for drivers on the Bank Holiday weekend.

Drivers on the M27 westbound between junction 10 and 8, Wickham and Bursledon, are experiencing severe delays on Saturday, May 25. The delays are currently just below and hour following a collision with traffic continuing to build.

AA Traffic News are reporting: “Severe delays of 57 minutes and delays increasing on M27 Westbound between J10 A32 Wickham Road (Wickham) and J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble). Average speed five mph.”

Hampshire County Council Traffic & Travel posted on X: “#M27 Westbound - all traffic being held between J9/A27 #ParkGate and J8/A3024 #Bursledon due to an RTC, heavy delays building.”
