Woman is rescued after crash in Waterlooville

Firefighters from Waterlooville and Cosham were called to Hambledon Road just after 5pm today, after reports of a road traffic collision.

Hide AdCrew manager Simon Bone from Cosham Fire Station said: ‘We had one female trapped in a car - we did a roof removal and extraction from the vehicle.
‘She was then passed over to South Central Ambulance Service for assessment.
‘It was just the one vehicle involved but we had a rescue vehicle and three pumps from the two stations in total and were there for about an hour.’
The condition of the woman is currently unknown.
