40-minute delays on M27 after two crashes this morning

There are delays of up to 40 minutes on the M27 this morning after a crash.

One lane is blocked after the incident on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 8 for Bursledon and Junction 9 for Whiteley.

Traffic information service Romanse has said drivers should expect delays of 40 minutes while the rouite is cleared.

There was already heavy traffic approaching Fareham after another crash between Junction 9 and Junction 10 eastbound earlier.

The third lane was closed for recovery work, and although it has since been reopened delays still remain.
