Hampshire road reopened after serious car and motorbike crash

A HAMPSHIRE road has been reopened after a serious crash between a car and a motorcycle.

The B3035 between Bishop’s Waltham and Corhampton was closed yesterday and earlier this morning while officers dealt with with the incident, which occurred shortly after 4.30pm on Sunday.

Hampshire traffic service Romanse confirmed the route was reopened just before 9.30am.

It said on Twitter: ‘B3035 #Corhampton – The Hangers re-opened in both directions after earlier RTI between Corhampton Lane and Sailors Lane.’

It followed an announcement from Winchester police this morning, which declared the route would remain shut while investigations continued.

The News has contacted police and paramedics for more information on the incident.
