Lorry and car crash on M27 leaves two lanes blocked

A LORRY and car were involved in a collision near a peak junction of the M27 this lunchtime.

The accident, which happened between junction 9 and junction 10 eastbound at 11.47am, resulted in two lanes being blocked through the roadworks.

Highways England posted after the crash: ‘There is a lorry vs car RTC - lanes 1 and 2 are blocked. Please take care past scene.’

All lanes have now been cleared but there are still some delays on approaching.

No injuries were reported following the crash.
