Lorry overturned in M3 collision leaving westbound carriageway closed between J8 and J9

A LORRY has overturned in a collision on the M3, leaving the westbound carriageway closed between J8 (A303) and J9 (Winchester).

The crash, which occurred between a lorry and a van, resulted in the lorry overturning and coming to rest on its side.

Traffic officers and emergency services including Hampshire Police are in attendance.

National Highways South-East have issued diversion details, and advise that road users follow the solid triangle diversion symbol on road signs.
