Two women killed in two-car crash on A27
and live on Freeview channel 276
Emergency services were called to the scene west of the Fishbourne roundabout at about 10.10pm.
Two cars – a white Ford Focus and a purple Renault Zoe – had left the road and crashed into trees near the eastbound carriageway.

Hide AdThis morning Sussex Police said an 80-year-old woman and a 75-year-old woman from Chichester, who were passengers in the Zoe, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Four others were injured in the crash. The driver of the Focus – a 27-year-old man from Emsworth – suffered potentially life-threatening head injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
The other people in the Zoe suffered minor injuries and were taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth for treatment.

The A27 was closed for about nine hours overnight eastbound between the A259 junctions for Emsworth and Fishbourne.
The route was reopened at about 8am.
