Waterlooville three-car crash sees two people taken to hospital

Emergency services were called to Hambledon Road in Waterlooville today, following an incident near the junction for Soake Road, at Byng’s Business Park.

Two of the three drivers involved have been taken to hospital, it has been confirmed.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We received a 999 call at 7.14am with the caller reporting a three car collision on Hambledon Road near to the Byng’s Business Park.

‘We sent two ambulances to the incident.

‘Two of the three drivers involved – one male and one female – have been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for further assessment for possible back and chest injuries, and the third driver was uninjured.’

Both lanes were partially blocked as a result of the incident.

Motorists have been facing delays of around 15 minutes along the main road.
