Here's when temperatures will be coldest in Portsmouth this week
The mornings have started to feel crisper as autumn comes to an end as the nights draw in.
Winter officially begins on Monday, December 21, but that hasn’t stopped the mercury from starting to dip already.

Here is what the Met Office forecasting for the rest of the week:
Thursday
Heavy rain changing to cloudy by nighttime, with highs of 8C and lows of 3C.
Friday
It will be overcast and there will be highs of 6C and lows of 4C.

Sunday
It will be cloudy changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime on Sunday. The Met Office is predicting highs of 6C and lows of 2C, which would make it the coldest day in the current forecast for the week.
Monday
Partly cloudy changing to sunny by lunchtime. There will be highs of 7C and lows of 3C.
Tuesday
It will be cloudy changing to light rain in the afternoon. The Met Office is predicting highs of 8C and lows of 4C.
