Fans predict who will top Portsmouth scoring chartsÂ

The odds have Oli Hawkins as the likeliest to finish as Pompey's top goalscorer this season.

And 31 per cent of the Fratton faithful are in agreement. 

The battle to finish as Kenny Jackett's leading marksman has been tight so far, with a five-way battle between Hawkins, Jamal Lowe, Brett Pitman, Ronan Curtis and Gareth Evans currently ensuing.

Hawkins has been placed as the 7/4 favourite, after netting six goals this term.

The ex-Dagenham & Redbridge talent is presently Jackett's first-choice striker, keeping Pitman confined to the substitutes' bench. 

After taking 10 games to break his duck, Hawkins has rocketed up the charts of late, netting five goals in his past six appearances. 

He will now fancy himself to win the accolade. 

And Pompey fans also feel the 26-year-old has a strong chance of topping the charts.

On a poll on portsmouth.co.uk, 31 per cent of votes cast were in favour of Hawkins. 

The former Hemel Hempstead man just shaded Jamal Lowe.

The Barnet academy graduate currently heads the leaderboard on seven goals '“ but is a 5/2 shot. 

There's more to come from Lowe as he continues his improvement and 29 per cent of fans feel he can clinch the Blues' golden boot.

The gong currently belongs to Pitman, after he netted 25 goals during the 2017-18 season.

Yet the Jersey talent has been a bit-part player during Pompey's League One title charge.

Nevertheless, he's still bagged four goals and won't go down without a fight. 

Pitman is priced up at 3/1 and 15 per cent of the Fratton faithful feel he can retain his prize.

The forward has made a scintillating start to his Blues career, bagging six goals and creating seven.

He's a 13/2 shot in the market and has been backed to finish as top goalscorer by 13 per cent of supporters. 

Despite also registering six times this term, Gareth Evans in the 12/1 rank outsider to win the golden boot.

However, 12 per cent of fans feel the Fratton favourite can outscore his team-mates.
