But the Reds manager Pete Stiles is unhappy about his team being docked three points by the league.

‘When we played Bashley we checked the FA website beforehand for suspensions and none were showing,’ argued the Fareham boss.

‘On the Sunday after the game, we checked and it then showed that Gary Moody had five yellow cards.

‘As far as we were concerned, it wasn't updated when it should have been.

‘We immediately contacted the Hampshire FA and admitted to our honest mistake.

‘At the same time, we also suspended the player for the next game against Horndean.

‘I think we have been harshly treated.

‘We were hit with a fine, lost three points and the player got another suspension.’

Josh Benfield is being rested because of an ongoing back problem against Brockenhurst.

Connor Messenbird remains suspended.
