Gosport Borugh produce superb fightback to beat Walton Casuals

TWO goals in the final six minutes allowed Gosport Borough to keep their Southern League premier division south play-off ambitions alive with a 2-1 win against Walton Casuals.

Matt Paterson and Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton’s late strikes ensured Lee Molineux’s men produced a stunning Privett Park comeback.

The first chance fell to the home side in the 10th minute when Aaron McCreadie fired narrowly over the crossbar.

On 34 minutes Theo Lewis released Michael Elechi with a wonderful ball, but he shot wide of the target.

Walton stunned Borough 12 minutes from full-time to grab a shock lead when Cole BROWN slotted the home.

Borough found an equaliser six minutes from the end PATERSON poked the ball in after a Josh Huggins shot bounced back off the post.

In stoppage-time Ryan Woodford headed a corner back across goal and Tyrell SKEEN-HAMILTON turned the ball into the net.
