The Blues boss was at Fratton Park ahead of the clash with Blackpool after undergoing surgery on Thursday.

Jackett was in hospital for a preventative and elective operation to remove a mole from the forearm.

The 59-year-old was absent from the defeat to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday as he isolated for 72 hours before the operation.

But he’s wasted no time in getting back among the matchday action with the Blues arriving at Fratton Park around midday.

It’s unclear what role he will take during that game at this stage.
