A Tonka toy breaks easier than Sean Raggett - Portmsouth fans react to defender's selection for Burton game

The Fratton faithful are delighted with the defender’s determination to keep playing, despite suffering a suspected broken cheekbone during Monday’s 1-0 win at Wigan.

Since then, the Blues have taking every precaution with the centre-back, and had the former Norwich man booked into a see a surgeon later in the week to assess the damage further.

Yet, it appears Raggett has won the battle to continue – keeping up his proud record of starting every league game for Pompey this season.

That means just one change to the side that beat the Latics at the DW Stadium.

Match-winner Andy Cannon returns to the starting XI at the expense of Michael Jacobs, who misses out because of injury.

As a result, youngster Alfie Stanley earns a call-up to the match-day squad following his winner for the reserves against Millwall in midweek.

That’s another decision which has pleased the Blues’ social media followers.
