Colby Bishop’s first-half penalty ensured a 1-0 triumph over the Gibraltar side in a match which often overstepped the mark for a pre-season fixture.
Regardless, John Mousinho made widespread changes in the second half, although three continued from first-half appearances.
So here are our Pompey player ratings for those who featured in the second half…

5. Connor Ogilvie - 6
Solid as ever, with forays down the left flank and a couple of decent crosses. Never gives an inch, especially against opponents who decided to play hard and not very fair as witnessed tonight. Photo: Jason Brown

6. Marlon Pack - 7
Pompey's newly-appointed skipper sat in front of the back four and relished the combative football being served up by the opposition. Such a key presence, with natural leadership. Photo: Jason Brown

7. Harry Jewitt-White - 7
(Replaced by Josh Dockerill on 65 minutes). Pompey's only player who started both halves and he gave another lively showing after the break. Didn't match up to first-half efforts, but another plus point. Photo: Jason Brown

8. Terry Devlin - 6
A first chance to see the new signing in action and his energy and drive to get into the box were clearly apparent. Wasted one good opportunity to create down the left channel of the box late in the game and couldn't quite stamp himself on proceedings. Photo: Portsmouth FC
