Colby Bishop’s first-half penalty ensured a 1-0 triumph over the Gibraltar side in a match which often overstepped the mark for a pre-season fixture.
Regardless, John Mousinho made widespread changes in the second half, although three continued from first-half appearances.
So here are our Pompey player ratings for those who featured in the second half…

9. Liam Vincent - 7
Having been introduced earlier than expected in the first half, Vincent remained in the side in the second and continued to impress. Loves to get down the wing and some encouraging attacking moments. Photo: Jason Brown

10. Christian Saydee - 7
Booked after 28 seconds and continued to make his presence felt with his pace and power. Should have done better with a second-half chance when a left-footed shot from a one-on-one was saved. Nonetheless, very encouraging. Photo: Portsmouth FC

11. Denver Hume - 8
Having appeared as a substitute in the first-half, Hume started the second and was a real surprise package, emerging as one of the best performers overall. Full of ideas, energy and fully committed, despite his future clearly away from Fratton Park. Photo: Jason Brown

12. Josh Dockerill - 6
(Replaced Harry Jewitt-White on 65 minutes). Having started the first half, he was back on the pitch mid-way through the second period, albeit this time in a central midfield role and impressed once more. Photo: Jason Brown
