Former Portsmouth and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp steps in for Bournemouth

The former Pompey and Cherries boss was asked by caretaker manager Jonathan Woodgate if he would be interested in helping out.
And the 73-year-old has subsequently agreed to take up a voluntary involvement, although not in a coaching capacity.

Hide AdThe Championship side have been without a manager following Jason Tindall’s dismissal last week.
That saw Woodgate take over the reins, having only days earlier been appointed senior first-team coach.

Now he will be assisted by Redknapp for an unspecified period of time.

Hide AdRedknapp told Sky Sports News: ‘Jonathan Woodgate played under me at Spurs and he's a great lad.
‘He's asked me to come in for a few days and watch them train, just to be around the place for a few days, help keep my eye on things for him.’
Redknapp has been out of management since leaving Championship Birmingham in September 2017.
His second spell as Pompey boss ended in October 2008 when he quit for Spurs.
