We’re going to sneak into the automatic promotion spots right at the end – because my mate Dave said so.

He’s not even a Pompey fan, I work with him at SSE, but it’s something he dreamt so obviously will definitely happen!

Seriously, our home form will maintain that promotion push, but we need to win some games on our travels. I believe 24 points are required from the remaining 10 matches.

Ipswich is the away fixture I am targeting, while not losing at Rotherham and continuing to win at Fratton Park.

Peterborough on their day are probably the best team in League One, I don’t think there’s any shame in losing there, so let’s look ahead, starting tonight against Fleetwood.

I’d like to see us go with a 3-4-1-2 against Joey Barton’s side, not that I think Kenny will do that for one minute!

Obviously we have Christian Burgess suspended, while Jack Whatmough had a bit of a struggle on Saturday, so I don't think he’s yet ready to come back in.

I also don’t want to take a risk with Paul Downing, so I’d put James Bolton into a back three also containing Sean Raggett and Steve Seddon.

Bolton and Raggett can sit, while Seddon should be allowed to push on when we are in possession.

It’s a bold team, but what else can you do with Burgess missing and presently no natural replacement at centre-half? So let’s ask Bolton to sit there.

I don’t entirely trust Ross McCrorie defensively, but if he makes a mistake then at least he has Bolton behind to cover.

Fleetwood could well come for a point, so we’re going to have to be pretty attacking.

When they cancelled the game in December, they were on a terrible run of form away from home. Now they are just behind Coventry, having won three on the spin on the road.

Fleetwood have already proven they can beat Pompey and frustrate them, so this will be a tough game.

Pompey (3-4-1-2); Bass, Bolton, Raggett, Seddon, McCrorie, Naylor, McGeehan, Curtis, Cannon, Marquis, Harrison.
