5. Miguel Azeez - Arsenal (end of loan)
Upon Azeez’s premature return to Emirates Stadium, it appeared he would be given a chance in the first team due to the Gunners’ lack of options in midfield. However, he’s been deployed back into Arsenal under-23s and has made six appearances for Kevin Betsy’s side. He was also handed the captain’s armband back for their clash with Blackburn U23, and scored in the 2-2 draw. Picture: David Price/Arsenal FC via Getty Images Photo: David Price

6. Gassan Ahadme - Burton (end of loan from Norwich)
Gassan Ahadme was allowed to return to Norwich early so he could complete a permanent move to Burton. Under the guidance of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, he’s started eight league games for the Brewers and netted in back-to-back games against Pompey and Cambridge last month. However, since then, he’s been limited to three outings while being omitted from the squad against Oxford United at the beginning of March. Picture: Robin Jones Photo: Robin Jones

7. Alex Bass - Bradford (loan)
It was clear to see that Bass needed game time during the second half of the season after the emergence of Gavin Bazunu. SInce he joined the Bantams on loan, he’s seen a change in the dugout as Mark Hughes replaced Derek Adams, while achieving varying levels of success. During his debut, he made a string of impressive saves in a 2-1 win over Walsall, but was at fault during a defeat to Swindon when giving away a penalty deep into injury-time. 8. Lee Brown - AFC Wimbledon
With Brown's contract expiring in the summer, Cowley allowed him to complete a permanent transfer to AFC Wimbledon in January. He's played 10 times since his move to south London, but is yet to taste victory as they sit perilously in the relegation zone. Following a defeat against Plymouth, Brown launched a tirade on his new team-mates by telling them a few home truths after the 2-0 loss. A week later, he was omitted from the Dons' match-day squad as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at Cheltenham. Picture: Alex Burstow/Getty Images Photo: Alex Burstow
