Kenny Jackett makes five changes amid Portsmouth rotation for King's Lynn clash

Kenny Jackett has rotated his Pompey side for their FA Cup encounter with non-leaguers King’s Lynn.

The Blues contain five changes to the side which drew 1-1 with Oxford United on Tuesday night.

They consist of recalls for Alex Bass, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Cam Pring, Ryan Williams and Ben Close – of which only Williams can be described as a first-team regular.

Out go Craig MacGillivray, Lee Brown, Jack Whatmough, John Marquis and Andy Cannon, who all drop to the bench.

With Pompey’s hectic fixture list and League One the priority, Jackett has made the decision to grant game time to others.

Although it appears to be a 4-4-2, with Marcus Harness and Ellis Harrison forming a two-pronged attack.

Meanwhile, Bryn Morris and Jordy Hiwula complete the bench.

Pompey: Bass, Johnson, Nicolaisen, Raggett, Pring, Williams, Naylor, Close, Curtis, Harness, Harrison.

Subs: MacGillivray, Brown, Whatmough, Marquis, Cannon, Hiwula, Morris.
