Kenny Jackett makes five changes - while Michael Jacobs returns - in Portsmouth clash with Sunderland
Kenny Jackett has overhauled his Pompey team following the Northampton debacle.
The Blues boss has made five changes for the visit of Sunderland – while Michael Jacobs returns to the bench.
Out go Lee Brown, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Ronan Curtis, Marcus Harness and George Byers.
Their absence signals recalls for James Bolton, Ryan Williams, Charlie Daniels, Harvey White and Ellis Harrison.
It also appears to be a 4-4-2, with Harrison partnering John Marquis in a front two.
Meanwhile, Jack Whatmough moves over from right-back to form a centre-half double act with Sean Raggett.
There’s also a boost with Jacobs back in the squad following his hamstring injury, albeit among the substitutes.
However, there is no place among the 18-men on duty for loanee Byers, who had started the 4-1 loss at Northampton.
Pompey: MacGillivray, Bolton, Raggett, Whatmough, Daniels, Williams, Cannon, Naylor, White, Harrison, Marquis.
Subs: Ward, Brown, Nicolaisen, Curtis, Harness, Jacobs, Hiwula.
