'Leeds wasn't amazing - but I'm relishing finally being here': How Portsmouth man is bouncing back from nightmare start
Just 10 minutes into the season opener at Leeds, the left-back tripped Dan James to hand the rampant hosts a penalty, subsequently successfully converted by Pascal Struijk.
Since then he has come up against four of the Championship’s top six - with fifth-placed Sheffield United lying in wait on Saturday.

Ogilvie is adamant he’s beginning to adjust to his new surroundings, having previously spent his career in League One and League Two - and he’s relishes it.
The 28-year-old told The News: ‘I think I’ve done okay so far, it has been difficult and obviously I’m disappointed with the first game (Leeds) about the penalty, but things like that happen.
‘I have never been one to shy away from it, it wasn't amazing for me, but I am looking to turn it around. You’ve got good players all over the pitch, so it’s just about finding a way to deal with that.

‘Dan James is a great player and played for Manchester United, he’s quick, other opponents are a lot stronger. I didn’t see him on my outside shoulder at Leeds, I thought it would be a simple pass back. Unfortunately it wasn’t and that just shows the quality.
‘Maybe he was one of the harder ones, but that’s the quality they have, there are moments they can produce and you can’t switch off for one minute.
‘It has taken me seven years to get to the Championship, I’m relishing it and kicking on, working on things with the coaches every day, video clips to find opposition’s strengths, getting the little edges I can.

Ogilvie has started all of Pompey’s six Championship matches this season, despite new rival Jacob Farrell now back to full fitness.
He added: ‘It’s the fine details, we need to nullify that and have been really close so far. We just need to tidy up a few bits.

‘As a team, we limited Burnley to very little. We set up really well and they had two or shots on target and scored twice, which was unfortunate, but we must tighten up.’
