Pompey have announced the signing of George Byers on loan from Swansea.
The central-midfielder arrives at Fratton Park for the rest of the season.
Byers, 24, has been on the fringes at the south Wales outfit this campaign, having made only one appearance in the FA Cup.
The Scot has played 65 times for the Swans, though, since arriving from Watford in 2016 as a youth-team player.
He was sat with Charlie Daniels – another player signed by the Blues today – in the director’ box for the 4-0 loss to Hull.
Pompey have made three January signings so far, following Harvey White’s arrival on Monday.
