John Mousinho has reported a clean bill of health for his Pompey internationals.

All three of his players came through fixtures for their countries without picking up injury issues from their outings.

That means Mark O’Mahony will be available for selection, as his team go to QPR this weekend looking for their first win of the season.

The Brighton loanee was in fine form before the international break, grabbing two goals in as many games against Stoke City and Oxford United.

O’Mahony had limited action in European Championship qualifiers for Republic of Ireland under-21s, as their bid to make the finals in Slovakia next year came up just short.

The 19-year-old got 13 minutes off the bench against Norway on Friday night, with a nine-minute cameo following against Italy on Tuesday - with both games finishing 1-1.

Meanwhile, Terry Devlin also saw limited playing time for Northern Ireland under-21s, as he played 17 minutes of a 5–0 success over Azerbaijan on Saturday afternoon and 19 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Luxembourg.

Sammy Silvera travelled to the other side of the world, after being named in new boss Tony Popovic’s first squad for World Cup qualifiers at home to China and in Saitama against Japan. The Middlesbrough loanee was left out of the matchday squad for both games, however.

Mousinho was pleased to see O’Mahony not feature extensively after a busy period for Pompey, but felt Devlin and Silvera could’ve done with the minutes.

All the players will report for training tomorrow, ahead of this weekend’s trip to the capital.

Mousinho said: ‘Sammy hasn’t played a minute while Mark and Terry didn’t start either game, so they should be absolutely fine.

‘Physically in terms of injuries we haven’t heard anything, which means they should be good to go.

‘I think probably from our point of view, if we’re being entirely selfish, I think it would’ve been good for Mark to have a break having started three games in a week. So we’re not too displeased about that.

‘From Terry’s point of view and probably from Sammy’s point of view it would’ve been nice for them to get minutes, having gone away and not featuring regularly for us in the starting line-up. So it’s a mixture.

‘To be honest, we like to see players play so if Mark had two lots of 90 minutes we’d been thrilled for him.

‘But for Mark it’s probably a positive coming back in fresh, while we would’ve liked the game time for Sammy and Terry.’
